A total of 3,182 live births were registered in the province in January 2021. It recorded a decrease of 3.6 percent from the December 2020 figure of 3,301.
A total of 3,549 private building constructions based on approved building permits were reported in the province for the year 2019. This number marked a decrease of 11.0 percent compared to the 3,989 approved building permits recorded in 2018.
The total number of live births in Quezon reported for the year 2020 was 34,920. This figure was lower by 12,518 or 26.4 percent from the previous year’s total of 47,438.
A total of 3,301 live births were registered in the province in December 2020. It recorded an increase of 11.5 percent from the November figure of 2,960.
The average Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Quezon for the year 2020 was estimated at 124.8 index points, higher by 3.1 index points from its year ago figure of 121.7.
