This report summarizes the administrative data gathered from September 2022 documents submitted by the local civil registry offices of the thirteen municipalities and a city in the province of Rizal. The province generated the following statistics: One Thousand and Four Hundred Fifty Seven (1,457) for death. This represents 4.56% increase from the 1,596 registered vital events from the previous month. Civil registration is a continuous, permanent, and compulsory recording of vital events occurring in the life of an individual such as birth, marriage, and death as well as court decrees, and legal instruments affecting his civil status in appropriate registers as mandated by Act No. 3753, the Civil Registry Law. In this September 2022 issue, the Philippine Statistics Authority of Rizal presents the number of births, marriages, and deaths registered by municipalities in the province. The data are preliminary result from the Decentralized Vital Statistics System 2011 based on the documents submitted (Timely and Late Registered) by the Local Civil Registry Offices in Rizal.          The province generated 1,426 timely registered deaths for the month of September 2022. Antipolo City was on the top with three hundred sixty nine (369) deaths, followed by Cainta and with one hundred seventy nine (179) deaths and Binangonan with one hundred seventy three (173). Municipality of Jala-Jala has the least number of deaths with twelve (12).           Records showed that there were 48 timely infant deaths in total. City of Antipolo recorded the highest with nineteen (19) infant deaths. Meanwhile, Cardona, Jalajala, Tanay and Teresa have no registered documents on infant deaths.           The modal age group for the number of timely registered deaths was at 65 to 69 years old with 161 occurrences in September 2022.   Eight Hundred Twenty Six or 57.92 percent of the registered deaths in the province died in their homes, whereas about 582 or 40.81 percent passed away in hospitals and 18 or 1.26 percent were deceased in places other than those mentioned above.   Fifty Eight point Forty Nine percent has been medically attended by the physicians, public health officer and in hospital before they pass away.   Based on the graph, the highest number of deaths for Male was at age 60 to 64 years old with 111 total deaths. On the other hand; at the highest number of deaths for Female was on an age of 70 to 74 years old with a total of 75 deaths (See Figure IV).   For the month of September 2022, male had the highest number of registered deaths compared to the number of deaths of the female. In terms of the civil status, 34.43% were single, 43.13% were married, and 22.44% were widow/widower. With regard to corpse disposal, 84.15% of death went through burial, 15.85% were cremated.
