Of the five provinces in CALABARZON, Cavite registered the fastest growth rate in 2023 with 6.7 percent. Cavite, along with two other economies in the region, also posted GDP growths higher than the regional GDP growth rate of 5.2 percent. (Figure 1)

In CALABARZON, Cavite was the second largest economy with a share of 25.2 percent of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), estimated at PhP 3.10 trillion in 2023. Laguna was the largest with 33.3 percent share.  (Figure 2)
