The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Quezon Provincial Statistical Office conducted the Third Level Training on 2025 Updating of List of Agricultural Farm Operators and Inland Fishing Households and 2025 Listing of Marine Fish Landing Centers (ULAFO-LMFLC) on 04 - 08 August 2025 at St. Jude Multi-Purpose Cooperative Hotel and Event Center, City of Tayabas, Quezon. The training aims to equip the field personnel with necessary skills and discuss operational concepts to successfully conduct the statistical activity.

The activity was spearheaded by Chief Statistical Specialist Airene A. Pucyutan and ULAFO-LMFLC Provincial Focal Person, Statistical Specialist II Walter S. Orijuela, together with the provincial staff of PSA Quezon. Regional Focal Person, Senior Statistical Specialist William T. Perez was also present during the training. It was participated by the selected Team Supervisors from the cities/municipalities of Quezon province. 
The ULAFO-LMFLC aims to develop a statistical sampling frame that contains an updated list of agricultural farm operators and inland fishing households, and marine fish landing centers.

For ULAFO, the survey will gather information on farm characteristics such as name of operator, residence of the operator, location of the farm, area of the parcel, temporary and permanent crops planted, kinds of livestock raised and kinds of poultry raised. For LMFLC, the data collected will cover the location of the marine fish landing center, peak and lean months, number of boats unloading in a day, average volume of unloaded fish per day per kilogram.

The Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) data collection method will be employed for ULAFO-LMFLC with the use of the tablet.

The information collected shall be treated with utmost confidentiality as mandated under Section 26 of the Republic Act 10625 published on September 12, 2013. Those who refuse to participate in the survey may face penalties, including one year imprisonment and a substantial fine, as stipulated under Section 27 of the same law.

The Fourth Level Training will be conducted from 18 – 29 August 2025 for hired enumerators, while the field operation will run from 01 September to 04 November 2025.
