In a collaborative effort to empower jobseekers and streamline access to essential government services, the National ID System – Batangas took part in the JCI Lipa “Grab-A-Job 2025” Job Fair held on April 9, 2025, at the 5th Level Parking of SM City Lipa.

The event, which ran from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, was organized by JCI Lipa and brought together various companies and government agencies committed to helping individuals jumpstart or advance their careers.

As part of its continued advocacy to make identification services accessible to the public, the National Identification (NID) System Batangas Registration team facilitated on-site registration and issuance of the National ID in paper or ePhilID. A total of 19 individuals were registered, while 38 ePhilIDs were successfully issued. Additionally, jobseekers received assistance in generating their Digital National ID, allowing easier verification of identity in both online and offline transactions.

The presence of National ID System Registration team in job fairs such as this underscores its role in promoting inclusivity and accessibility. Having a National ID is a key requirement in job applications, government benefit claims, and access to financial services—making it a crucial support system for those seeking employment.

The event reflects a growing synergy between public and private sectors in enhancing livelihood opportunities and public service delivery in Batangas.
