At 100 years old, Corazon Castillo Adajar became one of the oldest individuals to register for the National Identification System in Batangas as she successfully completed her registration and received her National ID in paper (or ePhilID) on the same day.

The registration took place at the Fixed Registration Center located at Citimart Caedo Plaza, Calicanto, Batangas City. The ePhilID serves as the printed paper version of the National ID, which is equally valid as a government-issued identification document.

This milestone is in preparation for the use of the National ID as a primary requirement for senior citizens to receive their social pension and access other essential services.

PSA Batangas encourages all senior citizens, including those with mobility issues, to register for the National ID. Families may coordinate with their respective LGUs or directly with PSA Batangas for possible house-to-house registration.
