PRESS RELEASE: PSA Quezon Conducts the 2023 Updating of the List of Establishment

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) will conduct the 2022 Updating of the List of Establishment (ULE) from May 2, 2023 to July 31, 2023. The Updating of the List of Establishment (ULE) is a regular undertaking of PSA which aims to provide an updated and reliable sampling frame for the census and surveys of the establishments and enterprises. 2023 ULE will involve door-to-door canvassing of establishments covering all barangays in the province to update the status of operation and characteristics of those establishments as of 31 March 2023. Additionally, the conduct of 2023 ULE will include, as a rider in operation, the distribution and collection of the 2022 CAF questionnaire for non-household units. Among the data to be collected are business profile and characteristics, e-commerce transactions, employment, total assets, and status of operation etc. There are 30,754 establishments and 313 CAF Non-Household Samples in Quezon to be covered for this survey. These are located in 39 sample municipalities and 2 cities of the province. Seven (7) regular statistical staff and thirty seven (37) Statistical Researchers (SRs) are involved in the conduct of the said survey. For this survey the Computer Assisted Personal Interview (CAPI) will be employed as the primary mode of data collection using a tablet-based ULE Application (ULEApp). If personal interview is not possible, the establishments may also opt to accomplish the self-administered Online Questionnaire through an online link or the Fillable PDF Forms which can be submitted through email. Other personal interview options include interview using the printed ULE inquiry Form or interview through telephone. PSA Quezon would like to inform the public that data collected from this activity shall be treated with utmost confidentiality as mandated under Section 26 of the Republic Act 10625 published on September 12, 2013.
