PRESS RELEASE: PSC Quezon Conducts 2nd Quarterly Meeting for 2023

The Provincial Statistics Committee of Quezon (PSCQ) conducted its 2nd Quarterly Meeting on 12 April 2023 at the Conference Room of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Quezon Provincial Statistical Office, Lucena City. Ms. Airene A. Pucyutan, PSA Quezon Provincial Statistics Officer (PSO) and PSC Vice-Chairperson presided over the meeting. It was participated in by PSC members from different government agencies, academe and representatives from private sectors. The main topic discussed was the Provincial Census Coordinating Board for the 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF) in preparation to the field operation to be conducted in September 2023. Other business matters tackled were the following: Compilation of Data from Slaughterhouses and Poultry Dressing Plants (CDSPDP); Provincial Product Accounts (PPA) Updates; and 2023 Updating of the List of Establishments (ULE) with 2022 CAF for Non-Households. The committee passed and approved the different resolutions in support to the successful conduct of the above activities.Different member agencies presented various data and indicators showing the economic situation of the province.Updates on the 2023 Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS) was also touched during the meeting.
