The Provincial Statistics Committee of Quezon (PSCQ) successfully conducted its third quarterly meeting on August 28, 2024, at the conference room of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Quezon Provincial Statistical Office, and was attended by the committee members and representatives from various government agencies and offices, including officials of PSA-Quezon.

PSCQ Chairperson Engr. Russell C. Narte, EnP of the Office of the Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator, presided over the meeting, and the following agenda items were discussed: (a) 35th National Statistics Month Calendar of Activities; (b) PSA-LGU Data Sharing for Business Register Project; (c) Updates on the 2024 Census of Population and Housing and Community-Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CBMS); (d) Updates on the Philippine Identification System; (e) eLGU BPLS Features and Implementation Status in Quezon; (f) Prices and Inflation Rate in Quezon and Lucena City; (g) Preliminary Results of Labor and Employment Survey (April Round); (h) Peace and Order Situation, and (i) Data on Agriculture.

The committee body approved the resolution for the 35th National Statistics Month Provincial Calendar of Activities for 2024. Additionally, the meeting served as a platform to call for PSC Quezon members’ support for the 2024 POPCEN-CBMS.
