PSA Quezon implements the rollout of printed ePhilID in Quezon province. The printed ePhilID is the digital version of PhilID which was launched by PSA to complement the production and delivery of the physical PhilID. It can be printed in the PhilSys Registration Centers or mobile registration centers all over the country. With ePhilID, the registrants can immediately enjoy the benefits of being a PhilSys registered, such as better access to more financial and social protection services in accordance with RA 11055 or the Philippine Identification System Act of 2018. The ePhilID has the same functionality and validity as the physical PhilID card. Every registered person will still receive their physical card even if they have already claimed their printed ePhilID. A total of 40 Registration Centers have opened in various parts of Quezon province and a total of 183,253 ePhilIDs have already been issued and distributed as of January 2, 2023. To promote ePhilID, NEDA Secretary and Chairman of the PhilSys Policy and Coordination Council (PSPCC) requested all member agencies of the PSPCC    for an urgent issuance and posting of a memorandum on the acceptance of the printed ePhilID as proof of identity and age. Various agencies have already acted on the request such as  Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Government Service Insurance System, Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Department of Foreign Affairs, to name a few. PSA Quezon continuously coordinates with the LGUs to hasten the delivery of the printed ePhilIDs by providing logistics support to the Registration Team and deploying barangay officials to assist in the door-to-door delivery of ePhilIDs. PSO Airene A. Pucyutan encourages the public to support the ePhilID and be vigilant in reporting those establishments and institutions that refuse to accept or honor the PhilID and printed ePhilID.
