PSA Batangas conducts July 2021 LFS and 2021 FIES (First Visit) The 2021 Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) is a rider survey to the July 2021 Labor Force Survey (LFS). This round of the LFS and FIES will be conducted from 08 to 31 July 2021 amidst the ongoing health emergency related to COVID-19 pandemic. The LFS is a quarterly survey of households that measures the current state of the country’s labor market and is used, among other things, to calculate national, and regional employment indicators. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Batangas will conduct this year the nineteenth series of the Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES). The FIES is a nationwide survey that gathers data on the income distribution and levels of living and spending patterns of Filipino families across the country. The data that will be obtained from this survey shall be used to provide inputs in the estimation of the country’s poverty threshold and incidence and will be the basis of the Government for its social and economic development planning and decision-making. The third level training will be held from 28 June to 03 July at Days Hotel, Batangas City. SSS Elvin Arasula, RO II Agnes Castor and Asst. Stat Pamela Alea will serve as a trainer in the six-days training.
