30 September 2024 - The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Region IV-A proudly participated in the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF), the country’s largest government service caravan, held on September 27-28, 2024, at the historic Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite. The event brought a wide array of services from various national government agencies directly to the people of Cavite.
In line with the government’s mission to make essential services more accessible, PSA Region IV-A provided Caviteños with key services such as PhilSys National ID registration, printing of national IDs on paper, updating demographic information in the National ID, and mobile acceptance of requests for civil registry documents. These services were made available to ensure that every Filipino could benefit from a streamlined and efficient public service experience.
Over 120,000 beneficiaries attended the fair, with PSA Region IV-A playing a crucial role in the implementation of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), a key program that aims to establish a single national identification system for all citizens and resident aliens of the Philippines.
During the event, PSA registered 100 persons in the national ID, processed 15 requests for updating or correcting demographic information, issued 40 national IDs on paper, and accepted 573 requests for civil registry documents.
This initiative supported the government’s effort to bring services closer to the people, empowering every Filipino with efficient access to essential government programs. The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair, spearheaded by the Marcos Jr. Administration, is a critical platform for delivering these services at the local level.
The event also featured participation from other government agencies and offered more than 235 programs and services. Additionally, Caviteños benefited from in-kind and cash assistance amounting to P999.5 million, marking the success of the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair in Cavite Province
