Batangas Province – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Batangas successfully conducted the 3rd Level Training for the 2025 Updating of List of Agricultural Farm Operators and Inland Fishing Households and 2025 Listing of Marine Fish Landing Centers (ULAFOLMFLC) from 04 to 11 August 2025. The five-day training was held in preparation for the provincial rollout of the project in 821 barangays in the province which will run on 01 September to 04 November 2025.

The training was spearheaded by Provincial Focal Person, Statistical Specialist II Lilian A. Gamboa, with support from Assistant Focal Person Statistical Specialist II Nailyn F. Fajutag and Statistical Analyst Divina Gracia U. Fortus.

The 2025 ULAFO and Inland Fishing Household aims to provide a complete list of agricultural operators and households engaged in inland fishing in the whole country. Simultaneously, the 2025 LMFLC seeks to update the list of marine fish landing centers nationwide. These efforts are crucial in generating a reliable sampling frame for agricultural surveys as well as quarterly inland, commercial, and municipal fisheries surveys.
