Agoncillo, Batangas – The Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) Quiz Bee Batangas Provincial Elimination was successfully held at Brotonel’s Event Center, Agoncillo, Batangas on February 06, 2025 showcasing the knowledge and expertise of local civil registry office staff from across the province.

The event was made possible through the support of Mayor Cinderella Valenton-Reyes, who generously provided the venue in coordination with Municipal Civil Registrar Karen O. Olvina. A total of 16 participants representing 13 municipalities and 3 cities took on the challenge, competing in a battle of wits and expertise in civil registration and vital statistics.

After a highly competitive quiz bee, the following participants emerged as winners:

• 1st Place – Ms. Sheelet M. Gonzales (City of Sto. Tomas)

• 2nd Place – Mr. Benjie A. Ebora ( Batangas City)

• 3rd Place – Ms. Mary Angeline H. Del Pilar ( Malvar)

The top three winners will advance to the CRVS Quiz Bee Regional Elimination, where they will represent Batangas on February 11, 2025, at Jet Hotel, Lipa City, Batangas.
