Number of Deaths… There were 1,322 registered deaths in Quezon in August 2022. It recorded an increase of 18.4 percent from the previous month’s figure of 1,117. The daily average of death occurrences during the month was 43 or approximately two deaths per hour. Deaths by Sex… There were more male deaths (747 or 56.5 percent) than female deaths (575 or 43.5 percent) registered during the month. The death sex ratio was calculated at 130 males for every 100 females in August 2022. Deaths by Age-group… Majority of the death occurrences belonged to age group 60 and over with a total of 797. This comprised more than half or 60.3 percent of the total deaths recorded for the month. Age group 55-59 years old registered the next highest death toll which accounted for 117 or 8.9 percent.
This special release presents gender statistics on vital events such as birth, marriage and death for the 2nd Semestral 2024 in the Province of Cavite.
