
Number of Deaths…
There were 1,312 registered deaths in Quezon in March 2025. It recorded an increase of 7.1 percent from the previous month’s figure of 1,225.
The daily average of death occurrences during the month was 42 or approximately two (2) deaths per hour.

Deaths by Sex…
There were more male deaths (722 or 55.0%) than female deaths (590 or 45.0%) registered during the month.
The death sex ratio was calculated at 122 males for every 100 females in March 2025.

Deaths by Place of Occurrence and Usual Place of Residence…
Lucena City recorded the most number of registered deaths at 353 or 26.9 percent. This may be explained by its large population and the health facilities available in the city.
The municipality of Candelaria had the second-highest number of registered deaths, with 88 or 6.7%, followed by City of Tayabas with 75 or 5.7%, and Lopez and Sariaya, both with 70 (5.3%), respectively.
There were 255 deaths that occurred outside the usual place of residence of the deceased.
Lucena City recorded the highest number of deaths (176) that occurred outside the usual residence of the deceased. It was followed by Gumaca (19) and Lopez (18).
Majority of the rest of the municipalities and city of the province registered higher number of deaths by usual residence than the number of deaths by place of occurrence.
