Number of Deaths… There were 2,009 registered deaths in Quezon in August 2021. It recorded an increase of 16.2 percent from the previous month’s figure of 1,729. The daily average of death occurrences during the month was 65 or approximately three deaths per hour. Deaths by Sex… There were more male deaths (1,115 or 55.5 percent) than female deaths (894 or 44.5 percent) registered during the month. The death sex ratio was calculated at 125 males for every 100 females in August 2021. Deaths by Age-group… Majority of the death occurrences belonged to age group 60 and over with a total of 1,296. This comprised more than half or 64.5 percent of the total deaths recorded for the month. Age group 55-59 years old registered the next highest death toll which accounted for 146 or 7.3 percent.
This special release presents gender statistics on vital events such as birth, marriage and death for the 2nd Semestral 2024 in the Province of Cavite.
