Live Births... A total of 3,708 live births were registered in the province in June 2022. It recorded a decrease of 3.3 percent from the May figure of 3,835. Of the total births registered, 51. 9 percent were males and 48.1 percent were females. This resulted to a birth sex ratio of 108 males for every 100 females. The daily average of birht occurrences during the month was 124. Lucena City recorded the highest number of live births with a total of 913 or 24.6 percent of the total births registre in the province. It was followed by Candelaria with a total of 290 or 7.8 percent., Lopez with 227 or 6.1 percent, Infanta and Sariaya both with 186 or 5.0 percent. The municipalities with the least number of registered births were Plaridel with 9 or 0.24 percent, Agdangan and San Antonio, both with 8 or 0.22 percent, and Perez and Quezon, both with 6 or 0.16 percent.
