The data presented herein are based on the documents submitted by the local civil registrars of the province and consists of timely and delayed marriage registrations received for the year 2022. The total number of registered marriages in 2022 is 15,568 higher by 16 percent or 2,155 than in 2021 with 13,413. This translates to an average of 42 registered marriages for the year. The number of marriages was highest in the month of December with 2,201 followed by the month of March with 1,991. November had the lowest number of marriage registration with 633 followed by August and September with 721, and 1,028 registered marriages, respectively. On the average, there were 1,297 marriages solemnized in Batangas. The rest of the cities and municipalities in the province recorded less than 10 percent each of the total registered marriages.
