The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Batangas, in collaboration with the Presidential Commission for the Urban Poor (PCUP), actively participated in the Bayanihan Para sa Bawat Maralita (PBBM) Caravan 2025 held on January 31, 2025, at the Padre Garcia Cultural and Sports Center, Barangay Quilo-Quilo North, Padre Garcia.
The National ID Registration team of PSA Batangas set up dedicated booths to provide essential National ID services, including National ID registration, ePhilID verification and issuance, and digital National ID assistance. This initiative aimed to bring vital identification services closer to the marginalized communities in Batangas, ensuring easier access to various government programs and services.
The event proved to be a resounding success, with the National ID team achieving the following milestones: 69 individuals successfully registered for their National IDs, 65 ePhilIDs issued on-site, and 25 individuals assisted in generating their digital National IDs.
Through this collaboration, PSA Batangas and PCUP reaffirm their commitment to empowering underserved communities by facilitating their inclusion in national programs. The issuance of National IDs plays a crucial role in providing Filipinos with a valid and secure form of identification, paving the way for improved access to government services, social benefits, and financial opportunities.
