
In line with its commitment to inclusive service delivery, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Batangas, in coordination with the Municipal Civil Registrar’s Office of Bauan, conducted a special National ID registration activity on April 26, 2025, at Sagip Buhay Tahanan Foundation, Inc. – Home for the Poor, Aged, and Abandoned, located in Poblacion 2, Bauan.
This initiative aimed to assist senior citizens under the care of the facility in securing their National ID—an essential document that serves as a valid proof of identity and facilitates access to various government benefits.
The registration activity was also held in coordination with the management of the Foundation, whose cooperation ensured the smooth and successful conduct of the outreach. The Municipal Civil Registrar’s Office of Bauan likewise took the opportunity to initiate the process of late birth registration for the senior residents, with the National ID as a primary requirement for birth registration.

Through this activity, PSA Batangas reinforces its mission to bring public service closer to marginalized and underserved communities, ensuring that no one is left behind in the implementation of the Philippine National Identification System.
