Batangas Death Statistics (Preliminary) January 2020-March 2021 More deaths were registered during the first quarter of 2021 than in 2020. The preliminary number of registered deaths from January to March 2021 reached 4,967, higher by 15.9 percent than the total registered deaths of 4,285 in the same period in 2020. In the first quarter of 2021, all months posted year on year increases in the registered deaths January with an increase of 1,722 (12.2%), February with 1,487 (6.1%), and March with 1,758 (30.3%). Four cities in the province had more registered deaths in the first quarter of 2021 than in the same period in 2020 Four cities registered 1,953 deaths from January to March 2021, or a 22.6 percent increase from the 1,593 deaths registered in the same period in 2020. Year-on-year increases were recorded in 3 out of 4 of its cities. City of Lipa had the highest increase of 13.7 percent, closely followed by Batangas City at 13.3 percent. Meanwhile, 8 municipalities declined in the registered deaths during the period. (Figure 2 and Table 3)  

DEATH STATISTICS IN QUEZON: October 2023 (Preliminary Results)
