The 2022 ASPBI is the 50th in a series of annual surveys of establishment and is currently being conducted nationwide this May 2023 with 2022 as the reference period.
There are 488 sample establishments in Quezon for ASPBI distributed in two (2) cities and thirty-eight (37) municipalities of the province. Only Padre Burgos and Patnanungan will not be visited by the fifteen (15) regular statistical staff involved in the conduct of the said survey.
Sample establishments are given multiple options on how they can respond to the survey. They can either (1) use the online questionnaire available at https://aspbi.psa.gov.ph (2) utilize an electronic copy of the questionnaire either in portable document format (.pdf) or Excel (.xlsx) file format or (3) accomplish the printed copy of the questionnaire.
The major data items to be collected in the survey are employment, revenue, expense, inventories, tangible fixed assets, intangible assets, and total assets of the establishments. The data collected from this survey will serve as the bases from which the government and the private sector formulate policies and economic development plans.
Provincial Statistics Officer Airene A. Pucyutan requests for the cooperation of the establishments especially the respondents to give accurate and reliable information necessary to provide a quantitative framework for the preparation of plans and formulation of policies affecting the formal sector of the economy. She also ensures that all data gathered will be treated confidentially as per Republic Act No. 10625.
