Number of Marriages…  
There were 563 marriages registered in Quezon in October 2023. It recorded an increase of 0.9 percent from the previous month’s total of 558.   
The daily average of registered marriages during the month was 18, lower than the recorded daily average of 19 in September 2023.

Marriages by Place of Occurrence…  
Lucena City (59 or 10.5%) had the highest number of registered marriages, followed by Sariaya (57 or 10.1%) and Infanta (49 or 8.7%).  
Candelaria with 39 or 6.9 percent and Pagbilao with 27 or 4.8 percent recorded the next highest registered marriages.  
Around 51.2 percent of the 41 municipalities/cities in the province registered less than ten (10) marriage occurrences during the month.  
No marriage event was recorded in the municipalities of Sampaloc and Panukulan.

Marriages by Month…  
In 2023, July was the most favored month to marry, with a total of 933 marriages, or a daily average of 30 marriages.  
May had the next highest number of marriages with 921 or a daily average of 30.  
August recorded the least number of marriages with 477 or a daily average of 15.

Marriages by Nationality of Groom and Bride…  
About 97.9 percent of the grooms and 99.6 percent of the brides were Filipinos in the registered marriages in October.   
There were twelve (12) intermarriages between Filipino brides and grooms of foreign descent and one (1) intermarriage between Filipino groom and bride of foreign descent.
