Number of Marriages… 
 There were 7,310 registered marriages in Quezon for the year 2024 showing a decrease of 13.0 percent from the previous year’s total of 8,399. 
 On the average, about 20 marriages occurred per day in 2024.


 Lucena City (888 or 12.1 percent) had the highest number of registered marriages during the year. 
 Jomalig recorded the least number of marriages with 16 or 0.2 percent.

Marriages by Month of Occurrence… 
 July was the most favored month to marry, with a total of 854 marriages.  It registered the highest daily average of 28 marriages with an index of 140. 
 June had the next highest number of marriages with 801, or a daily average of 27 and an index of 135. 
 August recorded the least number of marriages with 321.

Marriages by Nationality of Groom and Bride… 
 There were 110 marriages with foreign nationals that occurred in the province. 
 The number of marriages with foreign nationals was higher for brides (92) than grooms (18).
