The population of Lobo as of 01 July 2024 is 40,736 based on the 2024 Census of Population. (2024 POPCEN). This accounts for about 0.013 percent of Batangas population in 2024.
The 2024 population of Lobo is lower by -253 from the population of 41,504 in 2015, and 4,181 more than the population of 37,070 in 2010. Moreover, it is higher by 7,342 compared with the populationof 33,909 in 2000. (Table 1)

The population of Lobo decreased by 0.30 percent annually from 2020 to 2024. By comparison, the rate at which the population of the municipality grew from 2010 to 2015 was higher at 2.17 percent. (Table 2)

Among the twenty-six (26) barangays of Lobo, Balibago had the biggest population in 2024 with 3,409 persons, followed by Poblacion with 2,647 persons, Balatbat with 2,481 persons, Nagtalongtong with 2,285 persons, and Sawang with 2,209 persons. (Table 3)

Malalim Na Sanog was the fastest growing barangay in the municipality with an annual population growth rate (PGR) of 6.33 percent from 2020 to 2024. It was followed by Banalo with a PGR of 5.12, Malabrigo with 0.95 percent, Balibago with 0.57 percent, and Balatbat with 0.37 percent. Calumpit posted the lowest barangay PGR of -3.84.
Among barangays of Lobo, the largest in terms of population size is Balibago with 3,409 persons, followed by Poblacion with 2,647 persons, Balatbat with 2,481 persons, Nagtalongtong with 2,285 persons, and Sawang with 2,209 persons. (Table 4)
- Malalim Na Sanog has the smallest population with 192 persons, followed by Pinaghawanan with 398 persons, Bignay with 456 persons, Nagtoctoc with 619 persons and San Miguel with 783 persons. In the tenth place for least populous barangay is Masaguitsit with 1,371 persons. (Table 5)
