The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Regional Statistical Service Office IV-A has implemented the Civil Registry System – Information Technology Project 2 (CRS-ITP2) to its frontline service in Lipa City starting 30 March 2023. The CRS-ITP2 involves the computerization of the civil registry operations of the PSA and is designed to collect, store and manage civil registry documents and the specimen signatures of all city and municipal registrars using imaging technology. It aims to enhance accessibility, security and quality service for citizens requesting civil registry documents. With the implementation of CRS-ITP 2, the service provided by the PSA CRS Lipa City Outlet will provide faster and more efficient services. The following are the services offered at CRS Lipa Outlet: 1. Copy Issuance of birth, marriage and death certificate from the CRS database with a fee of Php155.00 2. Issuance of Certification of No Marriage (CENOMAR) if no marriage record appears in the national Indices of Marriage. Otherwise, an Advisory on Marriages shall be issued. Application fee is Php210.00 3. Issuance of Certification as to the non-availability of death record in the PSA CRS database with a fee of Php210.00 4. Viewable online – it is an alternative to copy issuance, the resulting image of the document is made accessible through the web using an access code. However, the document image on the web is available only for 60 days. Application fee is Php130.00 5. Doc Print - those who availed of Viewable Online may also opt to get a copy of birth, marriage, and death certificates including CENOMAR and CENODEATH by presenting the access code at the CRS Outlet with an additional fee of Php80.00 for the printing on SECPA. Regional Director Charito C. Armonia together with CRASD Chief Wilma A. Villafuerte graced the CRS-ITP2 “Go Live” roll out at the outlet. They gave freebies such as CRS-ITP2 shirts and brochures to the first five clients. Mr. John Paul Rubio, one of the clients during the “Go Live” shared that it took only 30 minutes for him to get his documents, from screening of requirements to the release of his requested birth certificate.
