TO: DILG Regional Directors, DILG BARMM Minister of Local Government and Others Concerned   SUBJECT: Dissemination of the Health, Nutrition and Child Protection Referral Pathway for COVID-19 Emergency   In support to all DILG Issuances with regard to the welfare and protection of children during the COVID-19 Pandemic and in consideration of the limited movement of people in the community, the National Child Protection Working Group (NCWPG) of the Council for the Welfare of Children (CWC), wherein the DILG is a permanent member, developed the “Health, Nutrition and Child Protection Referral Pathway for COVID-19 Emergency.” The Referral Pathway, designed as a Poster to be printed and posted by the Barangay in the Barangay Halls and other conspicuous areas in the community, provides for the basic guide on the flow of reporting and referral of cases of child abuse during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The said material is in Adobe Photoshop software and is editable so that local government units (LGUs) can fill-in the applicable information in the designated spaces, such as the LGU logo, name of the LGU and the name and contact number of focal persons of the concerned offices/agencies/units where cases of child abuse will be reported and referred. Relative to the above, all DILG Regional Directors and the BARMM Minister of Local Government are hereby directed to disseminate the attached soft copy of the Health, Nutrition and Child Protection Referral Pathway for COVID-19 Emergency in your respective areas of jurisdiction. Please submit report, using the attached template, on the compliance of LGUs to the National Barangay Operations Office (NBOO) through email address: nbooccdd2019@gmail.com on July 31, 2020 and every end of the month thereafter until the community quarantine is lifted.
