PRESS RELEASE: PSA Quezon Receives Award in the Gawad Parola 2023

Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Quezon received the “Gawad Parola 2023” Award from the Department of Education - Lucena Dalahican National High School (LDNHS). The award was given during the recently concluded Education Summit Gawad Parola 2023 held on January 25, 2023 at Queen Margarette Hotel, Barangay Domoit, Lucena City. Gawad Parola is a sort of recognition given by LDNHS to all its outstanding internal and external stakeholders to recognize their valuable contributions for the improvement of schools’ programs, projects, and activities which is in accordance with the implementation of DepEd Order No 2, s. 2013 or the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of RA 8525 or Adopt-a-School Program Act. PSA Quezon was selected as one among the stakeholder awardees for their involvement in the Brigada Eskwela in LDNHS last August 12, 2022. Supervising Statistical Specialist Normita D. Pagkatipunan received the award. Some awardees who were also recognized during the event came from the different sectors such as government agencies, Sangguniang Barangay chairpersons, private institutions and organizations, business entities and private individuals. On his opening remarks, Dr. Hermogenes M. Panganiban, Lucena City Schools Division Superintendent thanked all the stakeholders and emphasized the importance of having a strong partnerships with them for the improvement of all the DepEd programs, projects and activities. He urged everyone to continue their support this year and in the next coming years. Carmen H. Macatugob, Principal II of LDNHS has also given her State of the School Address, highlighting the good accomplishments of the their school.
