Philippine Statistics Authority Quezon is conducting the 2022 Philippine Competition Commission (PCC) Private Firm Awareness Survey (PPFAS). This statistical activity will cover a total of 62 establishments in 2 cities and 14 municipalities of Quezon Province. The questionnaires will be distributed and collected from January to March 2023. The 2022 PPFAS is a joint collaboration between PSA and the PCC. The results of the survey will guide the PCC in assessing the impact of their advocacy efforts which will serve as input in the design of future programs, to raise the stakeholders’ awareness on the PCC and PCA as the primary competition policy of the Philippines in promoting and protecting competitive market. Major data items to be collected in the survey are the general information about the respondent and establishment, sources of local news, and the awareness of private establishments on PCC, PCA, Competitiveness Bureau and the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC). In line with this, Provincial Statistics Officer Airene A. Pucyutan, of PSA Quezon enjoins all the sample establishments in Quezon province to support and participate in the survey by providing the required information to authorized PSA interviewers.
