Household population comprises 99.9 percent of the total population 1. As of 01 May 2020, municipality of Malvar had a total population of 64,379 persons. Of this total, the household population comprised 99.9 percent or 64,328 persons. This is 8.0 thousand higher than the 56,270 household population in 2015, and 18.4 thousand more than the 45,939 household population posted in 2010. 2. The total number of households in Malvar reached 17,064 in 2020. This is higher by 3.3 thousand compared with the 13,761 households in 2015 and by 7.3 thousand compared with 9,737 households in 2010. 3. The average household size (AHS) in Malvar decreased from 4.1 persons in 2015 to 3.8 persons in 2020. In 2010, there were 4.7 persons on average, per household.
