CALABARZON’s Gross capital formation expands by 46.4 percent CALABARZON’s spending on Gross capital formation posted the fastest growth at 46.4 percent in 2021. Other expenditure items also posted expansion. Total Imports and total Exports of goods and services from Rest of the World (ROW) grew by 14.4 and 9.8 percent, respectively. Household final consumption expenditure (HFCE) increased by 4.7 percent from a contraction of -8.0 percent in the previous year. On the other hand, government spending in the region slowed down by 5.2 percent in 2021 from a 10.1 percent growth in 2020.
