Household population comprises 99.8 percent of the total population 1. As of 01 May 2020, Batangas province had a total population of 2,908,494 persons. Of this total, the household population comprised 99.8 percent or 2,902,855 persons. This is 2.2 million higher than the 2, 686, 444 household population in 2015, and 5.3 million more than the 2,374,327 household population posted in 2010. 2. The total number of households in Batangas reached 716,192 in 2020. This is higher by 1.0 thousand compared with the 613,825 households in 2015 and by 2.0 thousand compared with 511,530 households in 2010. Average household size declines to 4.1 persons in 2020 3. The average household size (AHS) in the province decreased from 4.4 persons in 2015 to 4.1 persons in 2020. In 2010, there were 4.6 persons on average, per household. 4. Ten out of the 34 cities/municipalities posted an AHS higher than the Batangas AHS of 4.1 persons, namely: Agoncillo and San Nicolas with 4.6 persons each; Balete and Calaca with 4.2 persons each; Laurel with 4.5 persons, Lemery and Padre Garcia with 4.4 persons each; Mabini, Rosario and Talisay with 4.3 persons each. Two cities and eight municipalities posted an AHS equal to that at the province. Moreover, fourteen municipalities with the smallest AHS were: Alitagtag, Balayan, Batangas City, Bauan, Ibaan, Lian, MataasnaKahoy, San Jose, San Luis, San Pascual, and Santa Teresita, with 3.9 persons each, Lian with 3.5 persons, Malvar and Tingloy with 3.8 persons each , City of Sto. Tomas with 3.7 persons.
As of May 1, 2020, the household population of Dolores was recorded at 32,403 individuals, based on the result of the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (2020 CPH).
As of May 1, 2020, the household population of General Luna was recorded at 24,703 individuals, based on the result of the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (2020 CPH).
As of May 1, 2020, the household population of Catanauan was recorded at 72,620 individuals, based on the result of the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (2020 CPH).
