The 4th National Convention on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (4NCCRVS) with the theme “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-Fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics” was successfully held on 28 to 30 July 2025 at SMX Convention Center Clark, Mabalacat, Pampanga. The three-day event marked another significant milestone in the field of civil registration and vital statistics . It was attended by more than one thousand participants, including officials and staff from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and partners from national and local government units, city/municipal civil registrars, solemnizing officers and other stakeholders.

PSA Undersecretary and Civil Registrar General Claire Dennis S. Mapa delivered his Opening Message emphasizing the importance of CRVS as backbone of a responsive and evidence-based society. He took pride in highlighting the CRVS milestones spearheaded by PSA.  It was followed by the presentations of various topics on strengthening CRVS.

One of the major highlights on the second day was the ceremonial launch of the Administrative Petition for Correction Automated System (APCAS), a web-based system designed to digitalize the current technical framework of the administrative records to streamline and align the processes from the level of the LCROS up to the PSA.

Moreover, the last part of the Day 2 event was dedicated to the most awaited part of the city/municipal civil registrars, a recognition of their amazing work in 2024! Awardees under Extra Small, Small and Medium Categories were recognized. On the other hand, awardees under Large, Extra-Large and Super Extra-Large Categories were awarded on the last part of the 3rd day event.
