PSA QUEZON IMPLEMENTS PHILSYS REGISTRATION ON WHEELS (ROW)
The Philippine Statistics Authority - Quezon expanded its effort to ensure the inclusion of all Filipinos to Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) by utilizing the Registration on Wheels (RoW) strategy. Registration team used vehicles to saturate areas with remaining unregistered population and reach all far-flung and geographically
isolated barangays with potential unregistered individuals.
The RoW activity in Quezon province started during the last quarter of the previous year and is still on-going in several cities/municipalities. Specifically, RoW teams were currently roving in the barangays of 21 municipalities and cities of Quezon covering the four districts of Quezon.
There were also PhilSys on-site registration services in schools, institutions and selected government agencies to cover all unregistered population. Likewise, ePhilIDs were issued to successful registrants on the same day so that they can readily use the same as a valid proof of identity in any transactions with the government and private institutions. Meanwhile, PhilSys Fixed Registration Center located at the 3rd Floor Pacific Mall, Lucena City remains for walk-in applicants.
