The Provincial Statistics Committee of Quezon (PSCQ) conducted its 4th Quarter Meeting on 21 November 2023 at the Conference Room of Governor’s Office Building in Lucena City. Ms. Airene A. Pucyutan, PSA Quezon Provincial Statistics Officer (PSO) and PSC Vice-Chairperson presided over the meeting. It was participated in by PSC members from different government agencies, academe and representatives from private sectors.

Among the agenda items included were the PSC resolutions for approval such as the inclusion of Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO), Technical and Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA)-Quezon, and Philippine Information Agency (PIA) - Quezon as members of PSC Quezon; and the creation of the Technical Working Group for 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS).

Other business matters tackled were the 34th National Statistics Month accomplishment report of the Provincial Government of Quezon, Cybersecurity and Data Privacy from DICT and Indigenous Peoples (IP) Statistics from NCIP. In addition, different member agencies presented various data and indicators showing the economic situation of the province.

Updates on the Provincial Product Accounts (PPA) Dissemination forum were also  mentioned during the meeting. (P. Misula/PSA Quezon)
