The Provincial Statistics Committee of Quezon (PSCQ) conducted its 2nd Quarterly Meeting on 12 April 2024 via online platform. The meeting was presided by Engr. Russell C. Narte, Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (PPDC) and PSC Chairperson. It was participated in by PSC members from different government agencies, academe and representatives from private sectors.

The following business matters were discussed during the meeting: 1) Reiteration of Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Board Resolution No. 18, Series of 2021 – Enjoining all LGUs and Concerned Agencies on the Adoption of PSIC and PSGC in UBPAF, Generation and Data Sharing of Comparable Municipal-Level Industrial Statistics from the BPLS; and 2) 2023 Census of Philippine Business and Industry (CPBI) and 2023 Input-Output Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (IOSPBI).

The committee passed and approved two different resolutions in support to the successful conduct of the above activities.

Different member agencies presented various data and indicators showing the economic situation of the province and shared the ongoing and upcoming projects and programs of their respective offices.

Updates on 2024 Census of Population and Community-Based Monitoring System (POPCEN-CBMS) was also discussed during the meeting.
