The offices of the Philippine Statistics Authority in the entire country celebrated its 4th Anniversary on September 12, 2017. For the past 4 years, the PSA is Leveling Up in providing a more innovative, well-defined, honest, efficient statistical and civil registration products and services that the government and general public expect. Although the day was declared a non-working holiday in CALABARZON due to Typhoon Maring, PSA personnel gathered in the morning at the Regional Statistical Service Office (RSSO) in Lipa City to commence the celebration with a Thanks Giving Mass. The awarding of Winners for the Buwan ng Wika literary contests on Poem-Writing, Poster-Making and Essay-Writing followed. In the afternoon, four teams identified from among the staff as Green, Blue, Purple and White actively joined in the various group in-door games and a Bowling Tournament was also done at the Fiesta World Mall. Declared over-all champion was the Blue Team, 2nd Place goes to the Purple Team while Green team got the 3rd Place followed by White team. These activities were carried out focused on strengthening the effectiveness and camaraderie of its workforce. Regional Director, Charito C. Armonia, expressed her sincere thanks to the men and women of PSA RSSO IV-A, for their continuous support, patience and dedication for work. All have high hopes that despite challenges ahead, PSA will level up, carry on and goes on even far and beyond.
