Number of Marriages… 
There were 698 marriages registered in Quezon in February 2024. It recorded a decrease of 2.92 percent from the previous month’s total of 719.  
The daily average of registered marriages during the month was 24, higher than the recorded daily average of 23 in January 2024.

Marriages by Place of Occurrence… 
Candelaria (79 or 11.3%) had the highest number of registered marriages, followed by San Andres (65 or 9.3%) and City of Tayabas (63 or 9.0%). 
Lopez with 59 or 8.5 percent and Lucena City with 57 or 8.2 percent recorded the next highest registered marriages. 
Around 41.5 percent of the 41 municipalities/cities in the province registered less than ten (10) marriage occurrences during the month. 
No marriage event was recorded in the municipalities of Macalelon, Panukulan, Patnanungan, Perez and Quezon.

Marriages by Month… 
For the period of February 2023 to February 2024, July was the most favored month to marry, with a total of 933 marriages, or a daily average of 30 marriages. 
May had the next highest number of marriages with 921 or a daily average of 30. 
August recorded the least number of marriages with 477 or a daily average of 15.

Marriages by Nationality of Groom and Bride… 
About 98.7 percent of the grooms and 99.7 percent of the brides were Filipinos in the registered marriages in February.  
There were nine (9) intermarriages between Filipino brides and grooms of foreign descent and two (2) intermarriages between Filipino grooms and brides of foreign descent.
