The 2024 CALABARZON Regional Convention on Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (RCCRVS) with the theme: “CRVS: The Future of Seamless Services” was conducted at Hotel Casiana and Events Center, Tagaytay City, Cavite on September 25 to 27, 2024.

This activity is the result of the collaborative effort of Philippine Statistics Authority Region 4A (PSA 4A) and Philippine Association of Civil Registrars Region 4A (PACR 4A). It aims to improve the efficiency of the delivery of civil registration services in CALABARZON Region as it has also been identified as one of the key strategies to attain the goals of the CRVS Decade 2015-2024. The convention was attended by the officials and personnel from the Local Civil Registry Offices in the Region. During the three-day convention, the participants were given the chance to raise their concerns, questions, and clarifications in relation to the topics discussed by the resource speakers from the PSA Central Office and the Regional Alternative                

Child Care Office (RACCO IV-A) . Some of the topics discussed include the Additional Guidelines on Delayed Registration of Birth and Revised Guidelines for the Processing of Electronic Endorsements, RA 11222, RA 11642, and RA 11767, and Processing the Order of Adoption and Certificate of Finality Pursuant to R.A. 11642.

To show appreciation for their support to the implementation of the Birth Registration Project (BRAP) in the Region, the Top 5 LCROs with the highest number of registrations under BRAP per province were recognized and awarded. The following Cities/Municipalities had the highest number of registrations in the respective provinces under the BRAP: Kawit, Cavite; City of Calaca, Batangas; Mauban, Quezon; City of Calamba, Laguna; Montalban, Rizal.


The last part of the convention includes the awarding of the 2022 Outstanding Local Civil Registration Offices (LCROs) in the Region. The LCROs were categorized into six groups: Extra Small, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, and Super Extra Large. First place awards were presented to the LCROs of Pitogo (Quezon), General Luna (Quezon), Carmona (Cavite), City of Tayabas (Quezon), Sariaya (Quezon), and Batangas City (Batangas), respectively.
