Fisheries production for the 3rd Quarter of 2021 decreased by 2.4 percent. The total volume of fisheries production in Quezon province during the third quarter of 2021 was estimated at 18, 344.60 metric tons. It decreased by 2.4 percent from the 18,786.33 metric tons reported in the same quarter of 202. This was brought about by the decrease in the output from the two sub-sectors, namely, commercial fisheries (30.0 percent) and municipal fisheries (17.3 percent). In contrast, aquaculture fisheries went up bu 16.6 percent.
