Fisheries production for the First Quarter 2021 decreased by 39.6 percent. The Total volume of fisheries production in Quezon province during the first quarter of 2021was estimated at 14, 867.66 metric tons. It decreased by 28.4 percent from the 20, 750.67 metrict tons reported in the same quarter of 2020. This was brought about by the decrease in the output from all the three sub-sectors, namely, commercial fisheries (48.1 percent), municipal fisheries (16.4 percent), and aquaculture (11.2 percent).
