The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) - Quezon Provincial Statistical Office under the leadership of Provincial Statistics Officer Airene A. Pucyutan and in partnership with the Local Civil Registry Offices (LCROs) in the province officially launched its celebration of the 35th Civil Registration Month with a motorcade within Lucena City on February 6, 2025.

The motorcade assembled at the Pacific Mall-Lucena and started to move to M.L. Tagarao St. then to Quezon Avenue, Cotta-Dalahican Road, Pagbilao-Diversion Road, and straight ahead to Eco Tourism Road.

This event was participated in by most of the Municipal Civil Registrars and LCROs staff in the province, representative from Department of Foreign Affairs Consular Office - Lucena, media personnel from Radyo Pilipinas-Lucena, PSA-Quezon officials and employees, and accompanied by Philippine National Police-Lucena.

Following the motorcade, a general assembly was held at the Activity Center of Pacific Mall, featuring messages, talent performances, and raffle for all participating personnel.

Throughout the month of February, PSA-Quezon has lined up various activities such as orientation on civil registration, quiz bee, slogan and digital poster making contest, mobile registration, and among others to raise public awareness and appreciation on civil registration and vital statistics.

The CRM celebration is in line with Presidential Proclamation No. 682, signed on January 28, 1991, declaring the month of February of every year as the Civil Registration Month. This year adapts the theme “Building a Resilient, Agile, and Future-fit Civil Registration and Vital Statistics (CRVS) System”.
