Last August 16, 2024, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Batangas actively participated in the 28th anniversary celebration of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) by joining the World Café of Opportunities, a significant event designed to connect jobseekers with potential employers and provide essential services.
At the event, PSA Batangas offered a range of services, including National ID registration, addressing public inquiries, and providing mobile assistance for late birth certificate registration through the PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project (PBRAP). These efforts were part of the agency’s ongoing commitment to making its services more accessible to the community.
During the event, PSA Batangas successfully registered 8 individuals for the National ID, issued 6 National ID in paper format, and assisted 10 participants in accessing their digital IDs. Additionally, a representative from the PhilSys PBRAP was on-site to offer guidance and support for late birth certificate registrations, ensuring that more individuals could secure their essential documents.
The World Café of Opportunities served as a collaborative platform where government agencies and private companies united to empower jobseekers. PSA Batangas remains committed to supporting such initiatives in the future.
