There were 340 marriages registered in Quezon in November 2024. It recorded a decrease of 44.1 percent from the previous month’s total of 608.
The daily average of registered marriages during the month was 11, lower than the recorded daily average of 20 in October 2024.

Marriages by Place of Occurrence…
Lucena City (43 or 12.6%) had the highest number of registered marriages, followed by Catanauan (40 or 11.8%) and Pagbilao (39 or 11.5%).
Sariaya with 26 or 7.6 percent and Candelaria with 21 or 6.2 percent recorded the next highest registered marriages.
Around 53.7 percent of the 41 municipalities/cities in the province registered less than ten (10) marriage occurrences during the month.
No marriage event was recorded in the municipalities of Agdangan, Jomalig, Macalelon, Perez, Quezon and San Antonio.
Marriages by Month…
For the period of November 2023 to November 2024, July was the most favored month to marry, with a total of 854 marriages, or a daily average of 28 marriages.
June had the next highest number of marriages with 801 or a daily average of 27.
August recorded the least number of marriages with 321 or a daily average of 10.
Marriages by Nationality of Groom and Bride…
About 98.5 percent of the grooms and 99.1 percent of the brides were Filipinos in the registered marriages in November.
There were five (5) intermarriages between Filipino brides and grooms of foreign descent and three (3) intermarriages between Filipino grooms and brides of foreign descent.
