The economy of the province of Laguna grew by 3.9 percent in 2023 from a 7.3 percent growth in the previous year. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Laguna was estimated at PhP 1,029.31 billion. (Figure 1)

Among the industries, the fastest growing industries were Other services with 26.3 percent, followed by Construction with 23.9 percent, and Accommodation and food service activities with 17.7 percent. On the other hand, Manufacturing, declined by 0.4 percent. (Figure 2)

Laguna remained the largest economy among the provinces and HUC in CALABARZON, contributing 33.3 percent to the Gross Regional Domestic Product estimated at PhP 3,095.26 billion in 2023.
