07 February 2025, Trece Martires City, Cavite – The Philippine Statistics Authority – Cavite Provincial Office (PSA – Cavite), in partnership with the Cavite Associations of Civil Registrars (CACR), kicked off the 35th Civil Registration Month (CRM) with a spirited motorcade on February 7, 2025.
The colorful motorcade stretched from the vibrant heart of Trece Martires City, through the historical municipality of Silang, and concluded in the scenic city of Tagaytay, ultimately reaching the Coffee Capital Municipality of Amadeo. The motorcade served as the cornerstone of a month-long advocacy aimed at raising awareness about the importance of timely, accurate, and reliable civil registration. Various key stakeholders, including local government units represented by their Local Civil Registry Offices (LCROs), participated in the event, contributing to its coordination and success. Their involvement highlighted the collaborative efforts necessary to promote civil registration across the province.
The successful execution of the motorcade not only marked the opening of the 35th Civil Registration Month in Cavite but also underscored the community's commitment to ensure that every individual's vital events are documented and recognized.
As the celebrations unfold throughout the month, the PSA – Cavite and CACR look forward to engaging the public in various activities aimed at further emphasizing the significance of civil registration in the lives of every Caviteño. (MIEP)
