This January 2022 issue presents the Price Situation in Laguna based on the results of the 2018-based Consumer Price Index (CPI) composed of varieties of goods and services which are grouped into eleven (13) major commodity groups such as Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages; Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco; Clothing and Footwear; Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas and Other Fuels; Furnishings, Household Equipment and Routine Maintenance of the House; Health; Transport; Information and Communication; Recreation, Sport and Culture; Education Services; Restaurants and Accommodation Services; Financial Services; and, Personal Care, and Miscellaneous Goods and Services.
The non-food and industrial crops (NFIC) production in the province increased by about 0.9 percent from 1,311,028.27 metric tons in 2021 to 1,322,495.35 metric tons in 2022.
