Fisheries production for the 2nd Quarter 2021 decreased by 7.9 percent. The total volume of fisheries production in Quezon province during the second quarter of 2021 was estimated at 11, 454.57 metric tons. It decreased by 7.9 percent from 12, 436.0 metric tons reported in the same quarter of 2020. This was brought about by the decrease in the output from the two sub-sectors, namely, municipal fisheries (47.7 percent) and commercial fisheries (36.4 percent). in contrast, aquaculture fisheries went up by 32.9 percent.
