Number of Deaths There were 1,063 registered deaths in Quezon in December 2019. It recorded a decrease of 2.9 percent from the previous month’s figure of 1,095. The daily average of death occurrences during the month was 34 or approximately one death per hour. Death by Sex There were more male deaths (580 or 54.6 percent) than female deaths (483or 45.4 percent) registered during the month. The death sex ratio was calculated at 120 males for every 100 females in December 2019. Death by Age-group Majority of the death occurrences belonged to age group 60 and over with a total of 632. This comprised more than half or 59.5 percent of the total deaths recorded for the month. Age group 50-54 years old registered the next highest death toll which accounted for 78 or 7.3 percent.
